Position Summary: 

It is the primary responsibility of the Regional Sales Support Coordinator to drive market acceptance and investment in Riddell’s Smart Helmets. Within Riddell’s Smart Helmets, the Key Account Strategic Lead will be focused on InSite technology which is the leading head impact monitoring system in football. InSite consists of an embedded five zone sensor pad that collects and analyzes all on-field head impacts while also alerting sideline staff to atypical events. 

Work in conjunction with Riddell’s Institutional & Youth sales team to actively sell, support, setup, and train all InSite accounts across four sales regions. Serve as a direct support resource for internal Smart Helmet Technology team in developing and coordinating product training for Riddell sales reps. Provide intel on what data/information is most appealing to football staffs. Attend and present at a variety of tradeshows/conferences. Explore additional avenues of partnership and product exposure. Responsible for the Northeast Region, PA

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to Riddell sales reps., regional managers and customers using Riddell’s Smart Helmets
  • Assist with identifying and engaging prospects in institutional and non-academic third-party target markets
  • Manage interactions with current Riddell Smart Helmet technology users and target accounts to expand sales and future engagement with Riddell Smart Helmet Technology Products
  • Participates in Smart Helmet opportunity events and represent the Smart Helmet Team at target market events both regionally and nationally (i.e., clinics, symposiums, and conferences)
  • Assist Riddell sales representatives with development of effective sales training, presentation tools and promotional materials
  • Collect firsthand feedback from a wide array of users (ATC’s, Coaches, Administrators) on what data/information is most pertinent to them; when and how often they would like to receive said information; and provide insight into a cost analysis
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues with the technology
  • Assist with developing Smart Helmet marketing content highlighting Smart Helmet products including help facilitating user testimonials
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with the ability to influence across teams to achieve goals
  • Explore additional avenues of the sale beyond the institutional relationships
  • Physically calls on accounts as required by sales management
  • Travels up to 80-90% within assigned territory- Responsible for the Northeast Region, PA.
  • Travels up to 10% to Riddell Headquarters located in Des Plaines, IL.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Minimum (2 years) of Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, Account Management and Sales Support
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal, written presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Need to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Vehicle Requirements:

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and car insurance and keep on record with the Human Resources Department
  • Must provide own vehicle which is reliable and suitable to perform the required duties and tasks associated with the position
