Position Summary:

It is the primary responsibility of the Key Account Lead to drive market acceptance and investment in Riddell’s Smart Helmets. The Key Account Strategic Lead will focus on InSite technology which is the leading head impact monitoring system in football. 

Work in conjunction with Riddell’s Key Account sales team and Marketing & Communications team to identify, develop, and partner with industry influencers at the collegiate level to deliver elevated product awareness, revenue growth and market share expansion. Explore additional avenues of partnership with and revenue streams from Division 1 college football programs. 

*Must have existing relationships within Division 1 College Football staff and athletic administration

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and present Riddell’s Smart Helmet platform to Division 1 level prospects
  • Manage interactions with current Riddell Smart Helmet Technology users and target accounts to expand sales and future engagement with Riddell Smart Helmet products
  • Collect firsthand feedback from a wide array of users (Coaches, Equipment Managers, Sports Medicine, Operations, Administrators) on what data/information is most pertinent to them; when and how often they would like to receive this type of information
  • Identifies & participates in Smart Helmet opportunity events and represents the Smart Helmet team at target market events nationally (i.e., clinics, symposiums, and conferences)
  • Assist with developing InSite marketing content highlighting Smart Helmet products and help facilitate user testimonials for promotional purposes
  • Effectively train all reps at the Key Account level and users on InSite’s capabilities and features
  • Explore additional avenues of the sale outside of the usual Key Account relationships, such as, Sports Medicine, Hospital Systems, and Research Departments
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with the ability to influence across teams to achieve goals
  • Work with Riddell’s Research & Product Development team to create additional features/reports to display on the InSite Training Tool platform

    Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or relevant field required
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering complex programs and projects with positive measurable results
  • Minimum 10 years of successful technical sales/sales management and business development experience
  • Existing relationships within Division 1 College Football staff and athletic administration

Travels up to 60% within assigned territory
