Coordinates and maintains records of all incoming and outgoing shipments out of North Ridgeville facility. Prepares shipping documents to ensure that orders have been filled correctly. Completes routing for shipments per customer requirements. Handles all International routing and customs paperwork. Controls North Ridgeville gate and schedules appointments for inbound shipments. Works closely with the sales team to provide info relevant info on order status and outbound shipments. 1-3 years experience. Must start immediately.
Job hours will be from 9 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. Overtime / Saturday hours may occasionally be required.
Route shipments thru customer TMS systems and follows customer/ vendor guidelines
Check status of orders processing and provide updates to sales / customer service
Ensure we hit customer p/u dates and requirements
Controls truck access to the North Ridgeville facility operates the gate
Follows-up on shipment status using SAP tools and communicates status to appropriate personnel.
Maintains associated shipment records, files and documents.
Liaison between Customer Service and Warehouse
Schedules inbound shipments and works with Receiving to assign doors
Schedules carriers for pick up
Help coordinate urgent shipments
Prepares bill of lading and shipping documents to meet customer/customs standards
Monitors failed PGI reports Handles all required International Shipping Documents
Interpret vendor route guides and communicate w/ appropriate personnel
Customer chargeback reconciliation/verification for shipping
Manages exceptions in Riddell’s TMS system Any miscellaneous office functions that may need assistance (as directed by supervisor/manager)
Education and Training:
High school degree or equivalent required. Some college preferred
Experience in a general office or warehouse office environment required
Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, primarily Word, Excel and Outlook
SAP order entry/order processing experience desirable
Prior experience with International shipping preferred
Experience & knowledge of “RF” Inventory systems a plus Previous Operations or Transportation experience
