Provides direction and leadership support for site manufacturing activities to attain safety, cost, quality and delivery goals. Manages available resources and leads associates to perform all departmental tasks in the most cost-effective manner while ensuring a quality product is processed according to schedule. Ensures proper use of all Riddell personnel systems and adherence to all regulatory requirements placed on the plant. Supports company operating plan along with Riddell’s mission, vision and values. First Shift 6 am-2:30 pm.

Meet department objectives (cost, quality, service)
Create, maintain, and update SOP’s within the department
Maintains fair and consistent application of all company policies and procedures.

Resolve personnel issues or conflicts.

Perform job related administrative duties (ADP)
Search out, recommend, and implement process improvements.
Drive 5S, safety, and housekeeping initiatives
Must have at least 3+ years of direct supervisory experience
Responsibilities include training associates; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising personnel performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing concerns and resolving problems.
Leads by example.

Education and Training:
• High School diploma or Equivalent
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree
Basic computer software skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, SAP).
