In this new role, the Data Analyst will create and deliver analytics to strengthen Riddell emerging InSite Training Tool. Building off of our historical impact data collected over the pas 15 years, the Data Analyst will use advanced analytics to create new reports and insights as well as prepare our database for increased capture in the coming years. The Data Analyst will work closely with our product, support and sales teams to ensure that Riddell delivers meaningful insights for coaches and players to advance the game of football and ensure safety at all levels of play.

Identify, develop, prototype and validate new client-focused data-driven tools and solutions
Facilitate the development of prototypes and their implementation into our technology
Employ programming skills to help to translate algorithms implemented in high level, mathematically oriented langues such as R into object oriented C++/Phython
Collaborate with internal development and support teams to test new ideas and create actionable reports from Riddell impact data
Explore data integration projects with 3rd parties
Work with football coaches and staff to ensure delivery of meaningful and actionable reports and insights
Build prototype applications toe exhibit innovate data models
Skills and Experience:
Postgraduate degree (Masters) highly desirable
Background or experience with software engineering
Experience in statistical modeling, including machine learning, with large data sets
Experience with data visualization tools
Great communication skills and able to articulate findings to both technical and no-technical audiences
**Interest and knowledge of Football is a must
Hands-on experience with at least one database querying language ;Ike SQL
Ability to work independently but also within groups
Open to Travel (10%)
